Demo Timelines

The demos listed below are intended to highlight how HistropediaJS interactive timelines can be used to visualise different types of content. We will shortly release more detailed worked example apps with documentation and public code repositories, but these rough examples are included for now to give some inspiration.

The UI elements used in the demos such as the timeline title, filter panels, related content panel and the timeline control buttons are all just basic HTML elements we have added to show methods of interacting with the timeline. The HistropediaJS library does not automatically add any CSS or HTML to the page except a single HTML5 <canvas> element for rendering the timeline. Timeline controls and other functions can easily be linked to buttons, sliders or any other elements you choose.

Personalised Demo and Consultation

Please contact us if you would like to discuss the possibility of a demo using your existing content. We are always happy to discuss your timeline needs, and advise you whether HistropediaJS would be a suitable product for you.

From time to time, we also volunteer as Wikidata consultants for cultural heritage institutes who are interested in adding or linking their data to Wikidata. You can learn more about Wikidata on the Wikidata home page.

Collaborations and joint ventures

We are also always interested in collaborations with potential data partners, if you have an interesting collection and would like to discuss how it could be visualised we would love to hear from you.
