Use the Configuration Panel to build and refine your timeline. Adjust your SPARQL query and customise the settings that control how results are displayed.
In the Configuration Panel you can add or edit:
When you're ready, click Generate Timeline. You can reopen the Query Panel any time to iterate.

Share your timeline with others or reuse it elsewhere by clicking the Share button in the toolbar.
Tip: Export your timeline to Histropedia Sheets format to create a snapshot version. This version loads instantly because it doesn't need to run the query each time. You can also manually edit the timeline data however you like.
Copy and paste the HTML snippet below to embed this timeline on a webpage.
Choose one of the export options, then copy the output below.
The JSON output can be loaded directly into any HistropediaJS timeline.
The Histropedia Sheets output can be pasted into a Google Spreadsheet for use with the Histropedia Sheets tool. This allows you to edit the timeline data in any desired way, or add custom events not available on Wikidata.
Any data used as a colour code or filter option will be included in the export.
If your query contains variables named "item", "itemDescription" or "wikipedia", then these will also be included automatically.
